Yeah I really thought I would be out when I crashed, so even being able to finish the race felt like a win for me.

I love how they yell it too. Not like "Hey bud, I believe our engine is no longer operating at optimal performance" but instead it's "THE ENGINE'S BLOWN!!"

I think with another couple upgrades we'll be consistently in the top 10, but I'm gonna have to get better with the setups if I want to contend for the title.

"Hero in a half-shell" knocking out a sub 15 second pitstop like it's nothing lol. If these guys had to do single-lug pitstops, I'd have so many wheels fall off 🤣

I think he said his helmet actually hit the wall in that crash. Scary stuff. I do wonder how good the qualifying lap could have been if I didn't screw it up lol. I can't believe I didn't completely wreck the car the last lap; I am very happy with my top 101

@@RacekorStuff I know he fully recovered but he still didn’t race ever again and I don’t blame him. Probably scared him to death

I want to say he was on the Dale Jr Download and talked about it; pretty sure he still has lingering effects from the head injury he sustained. I think his crash is part of the reason the window nets are so tight now, and the seats have the headrests that wrap around the driver.

@@RacekorStuff I totally believe that all 100%. And also, had Earnhardt Sr’s fatal crash not happened in 2001, more drivers likely would’ve died since the safety we got from that wouldn’t have been around and Nadeau most definitely would’ve been one of many more victims

@@MarkOliveras0215 absolutely. It’s awful we lost him (and a couple drivers in the same 12 months), but I think that was the push needed to force some safety mandates.

I am incredibly happy with how this race went, especially compared to Daytona! And yeah it was a good change of pace from the tons of wrecks last time. Really wanted that lead lap finish, but Ward was not gonna let me have it lmao.

@@RacekorStuff Agreed. Although you’ve been warned like Ward Burton: Plate Races in this game are broken AF since they’re all spread out where every other track is packed together so it’s completely backwards

What I mean by the title is "Of games on the market today, this would be the best if they improved a couple things." I'll have to see if I can find FaceOff, because that sounds real fun lol

I mean, the fact that I was 6-7 in 1989 was probably a BIG part of the charm, putting guys in headlocks during hockey fights is more entertaining when you're 6 and it hasn't happened to you in real life yet, 🤣. In today's market a 286 game would probably be best described as "so terrible, it's kinda good", and I'd venture to say not a lot of your viewers probably have that dated a computer kicking around. I've only ever seen "FaceOff!" (I think you need the exclamation point to actually find it) floating around online on a couple of weird websites like retrogames which is a .cz site which makes me question the necessary anti-virus and pop-up blocker requirements (also on those sites the instructions for controls to actually play are missing, lol).

Yeah I was pretty surprised by it. It seems like sometimes he follows your recent footsteps, and sometimes he goes towards where you are currently. Very interesting.

The spotters in this game are amazing lmao

Obviously we'll never know, but I really do wonder how they would have faired without each other. And yeah this race was nuts. I was expecting to have a bad race because of my bad driving, but it was everyone else who caused most of the problems lol.

I mean, technically they're all just gold protocol droids, C3PO wasn't the only one in the galaxy. But it was probably easier / cheaper to make just one model for the droid instead of multiple different ones.

For a one man team, I think it's not too bad, but the gamebreaking crashes at the end of each level kind of killed it for me. This was his first Star Wars game, and I've played a few more of his games (videos coming soon-ish lol) and I think they do get better.

I think making some silver and could not have taken too long and added a lot, although it’s not even worth discussing when you can’t even finish the game, I agree.

Yeah this was his first Star Wars game. I haven't edited the video yet, but I played more of his Star Wars games and some were complete and some were not lol.

It's a mod from NCR Designs; only works for Dolphin Emulator on PC while Cosey is playing on his PS2. I do love this mod, and the mod creator is the best for making custom paint schemes for me.

I thought it would be a good scheme to adapt, plus my number and logo would translate well to that scheme. For lore reasons, I like to think with our team being low budget we can't afford to wreck after qualifying, so we just park it till the race. But honestly I just practice till the car is good in first practice (the timer resets each time you go to the garage and then back to practice) so it's just not necessary. And yeah the end of the race was a mess. I think I've gotten used to the likelihood that they flip a coin before they decide to throw each caution.

Sometimes in Tampa you get the section to yourself because the ballpark is just empty a lot 😅 the ballpark isn’t really close to much, so if you live in downtown Tampa it’s a 45+ minute drive to go to a game. For most people it’s just not worth it.

I tried to run clean, just doesn't always work lol. Car got real bad that last run, but we still finished ok.

There is an in-car view, but there's no way to look right or left so it gets difficult to see what is going on around you.

That connection certainly makes sense! I’m not a fan of horror / zombie stuff at all, but in a Star Wars setting I really enjoyed it.

The COT Crown Royal Matt Kenseth 17 car was the inspiration for it lol. If you check out my website, I have a sticker that I made (well before I started this series) of me driving basically what is the car I use here.

Sometimes I can’t remember who is in what car with the new paint schemes. I need to do a better job of paying attention to that. And this game doesn’t model the real life schedule exactly, since not all tracks (like Pocono) made it into the game.

Yeah the big upgrades are well over a million. Top 35 should be easy, so I’m just trying to finish well and make money lol.

The first time I went (back when it was called SIK) my chest / biceps hurt for a while. Now I stretch before I kart lol.

@@RacekorStuffTony Savoy’s game is the same way. Sometimes there’s a caution and sometimes there isn’t when people crash whether it’s the player or the AI hell even both

Yeah we didn’t want to spend the whole weekend at the track (I wouldn’t have minded, but they’re not all big NASCAR fans like I am). Normally the NASCAR vlogs are truck race only because my buddy works for a truck team and the passes are only good for the truck race, but this one we bought tickets for.

@MarkOliveras0215 plate racing is great. The first race that Deja (my brother’s gf) watched with me on TV was Atlanta Xfinity in 2022, and then we went to Daytona a month later for her first race in person!

We just moved from Daytona back to where I went to school in DeLand, just half an hour away. Had a great deal for a much nicer place pop up and they asked us to move in asap lol. And the game was so fun! We went to one last year but Tampa lost in overtime, so seeing them win was awesome!

Unfortunately most of the career mode races require a win to move on, so if you don’t win you have to do it again. Restarting just means more work (and more editing lol) for me, so I definitely don’t like restarting races but sometimes it’s a must. And an explosion in the winner’s circle would be hilarious! 😂
